First Baptist Church of Midway, Plant City Florida

My journey began in Brooklyn N.Y. Being born and raised Jewish, I was Bar-Mitzvahed at the age of 13. When I was 17 my father passed away, after a long illness. My heart was crushed. I got mad at God, life and the world. I looked everywhere to find comfort and peace but could never find it anywhere. Sex, drugs, rock-n-roll, motorcycles, partying, nothing lasted. I could find no peace or comfort. Then I met Jesus. He changed my life and world. I found peace, comfort and joy in Him. I've been in the ministry for over 25 years now, preaching, teaching and counseling. I've traveled to a number of different countries preaching The Gospel, smuggling in Bibles and other Christian material. I graduated the University of Central Florida where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, I then attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary receiving a Master of Divinity Degree. Recently, I received a professional Doctor of Ministry Degree in Christian Counseling from Glendale University. I've been married to the same beautiful woman for over 27 years and have two wonderful daughters. I call myself a "Completed Jew" because Jesus is my Messiah. I love Him and love The Church. I came to First Baptist Church of Midway in 1996 and continue to serve this exciting fellowship as the Senior Pastor.
